Puppet Hands

I created my first short film project, "Puppet Hands," over the summer as a personal project. The film explores themes of depression and depersonalization, a condition where individuals feel disconnected from their bodies and thoughts. This experience can resemble observing oneself from outside the body or experiencing a dream-like state. I aimed to convey this disconnection through the movement of hands, as they can often express emotions more powerfully than we realize. To bring my vision to life, I utilized a mixed media art style using Procreate, making frame-by-frame adjustments in certain sections for emphasis and compiling everything in Adobe Premiere Pro.
